School Year 2017 - 2018 Charge Policy

The Board approved a charge policy as required by the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010.  All students will be limited to 5 days of meal charges. After the 5th day of unpaid charges, the student will receive a courtesy meal that will consist of a cheese sandwich and fruit; water is available to all students in the cafeteria. Parents may check their student’s meal account balance and make payments online at . Parents must reapply each school year for free and reduced price meal benefits. If your child received free or reduced price meals last school year, they will continue to receive those benefits for the first 30 days of school, but you must reapply before the end of the 30 days.   We encourage all parents that think they may qualify to apply for meal benefits to complete the application and return it to the school nutrition manager at their child’s school or to our department located in the Board of Education building. All free and reduced meal benefit information is confidential. Meal applications are available online @ , at school or you may contact our office @ 706-754-2110 and we will be happy to assist you.
